Q. When should I use a TOC (Table of Contents) with my video?
A. A TOC can only be used with a MP4/FLV/SWF- (Flash Output) production setting. The best
use for a TOC is for long videos of 10 minutes or longer. With a TOC a viewer can jump to
different sections of the video for first time viewing or re-viewing any section of the video.

Q. What is flash video?
A. Flash Video is a container file format used to deliver video over the Internet using the Adobe
Flash Player.

Q. What languages do you support?
A. Only English is supported at this time.

Q. What is Captions?
A. Captions is an option that will display the audio in text form either as an overlay of the video
recording or below the video recording. Captions are compliant to Section 508 of the US
Disabilities Act in the number of lines displayed and the caption text color.

Q. How does Quiz and Survey work?
A. A quiz or survey can be placed anywhere in the video to engage the viewer. The quiz or
survey is designed around the subject of your video to capture feedback from the viewer.
Answers to questions contained in the quiz or survey can be returned to you VIA email or can
be imported to a SCORM compliant database.

Note: This video option can only be applied to an MP4/FLV/SWF- (Flash Output)
production setting.

Q. What is video tilting?
A. Normally a video is on a flat plane facing the viewer. With video tilting, the left or right side of
the video image can be turned away from the viewer. This provides an alternate dimension that
enhances the video viewing pleasure.

Q. Will I be able to review my video before final production?
A. Yes, we will provide a link to the production video file for your review. You can suggest or
make changes before the final production release is made.

Q. How can I send the recording file to you?
A. Please use our EZ file transfer service.

Q. Can I FTP my files to your server?
A. We operate a private server and do not allow clients to FTP to our server. However you can
provide us log-in info to your server and we will use ftp to download your file. We also offer a
secure upload and download application to make transferring files EZ. You can check out this

Q. How will I get the production files when they are ready?
A. You will receive an email that provides a link to a secure server. You will also get a private
user name and password. At your discretion you can login and download your production files.
Special arrangements can be made to have us upload the files to your server.

Q. My Video contains sensitive material, will it be safe?
A. Yes, our service is secure and we never expose your material to anyone other than the
owner.

Q. How long does it take to edit a video?
A. There are many variables when editing a video. Depending on how many editing options are
used, the time to edit can be anywhere from 2x the raw video length to 5x the raw video length.
Of course there are always exceptions to the rule.

Q. Can you insert pictures or video clips into the video?
A. Yes your pictures can be added or inserted into a video at any location. This gives a video
an added dimension of quality and can aid in explaining points made during the video.

Q. What are the 4 video end actions that I can choose?
A. Stop/End - Video stops with final image displayed.
Jump to URL - Link to a website page of your choice.
Go to time - Go to a designated section of the video. Start playback or pause.
Loop playback - Start the video over.
